produced by
Birrificio Poretti
(a brand owned by Carlsberg Italia). Birra Poretti is made from quality hops and
water sourced from the pure Valganna spring; production is based on seasonal factors and other sustainability
criteria.
A significantly
reduced environmental impact
is guaranteed by both logistic considerations – namely, doing
away with metal kegs
that need to be returned to the port of embarkation – and by the technique used for
serving the beer on draft. Not only is Poretti beer marketed in recyclable PET kegs, it is tapped without adding
CO
2
, using a compressor to provide dispensing pressure and thereby guaranteeing mitigated impact without
affecting the hop-fresh flavor of the product.
