in destinations The concept of ideal travel envisaged by Costa revolves around several main themes:
enhancement of guests’ physical and emotional well-being, with the provision
of friendly, customized service and the possibility of establishing new relations;
introduction of novel ways of discovering destinations as well as the chance to visit
new, relatively unknown places; promotion of responsible, eco-friendly tourism. All
of these features are present in the new type of excursion introduced in 2019: the
Urban Nordic Walking Tour, a kind of urban trekking that can be enjoyed anywhere by
anyone, irrespective of their age or level of fitness. Participants are assisted by trained
Costa staff who instruct them on how to use the walking equipment and adopt the right
